Spye, a national leader in integrated system technology, is seeking a full-time Solutions Sales representative for our Minneapolis Office. The individual must be friendly, creative, and able to learn on the fly and have interest and proficiency in technology. This position will be responsible for building relationships and bringing in revenue through the proposal and sale of AV Integration, Content, Design, and Digital Signage work. This person is responsible for the overall margin of the project and will work closely with our design and operations staff to ensure projects are implemented and serviced to Spye standards.

  • Achieve yearly sales targets through the sales of our core services.
  • Represent Spye principles and values with our clients and the design community.
  • Be a professional.
  • Be passionate about the services and support Spye offers and create value for our customers and clients through smart design.

Ideal background/experience/attributes:

  • Act as a self-starter who is able to work independently with an outgoing, enthusiastic, detail-oriented personality.
  • Provide ongoing consultation to clients regarding the purchase of hardware and software solutions and professional services offerings.
  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships in a specific vertical market.
  • Maintain and discover new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Report and manage monthly appointment activity and sales calls.
  • Engage in opportunities with our existing vendor/distribution channel partners to ensure best value, pricing, and support for customers.
  • Coordinate with internal sales and operational groups to ensure customer engagements are deployed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and develop proficiencies with new technologies and products.
  • Engage and consult with customers at the executive level.
  • Strategically work with and leverage existing business partners in new opportunities.
  • Light travel may be required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Four-year college degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive outside business to business sales experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in AV hardware, software, or IT professional services sales preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in design related industries a plus.

Compensation:

  • Base + commission compensation package.
